Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of sophisticated backend systems using Java.
• Spearhead complex database migration projects from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
• Oversee the management and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovate backend development processes.
• Implement caching mechanisms to improve system performance and response times.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization to meet scalability challenges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align backend solutions with business objectives.
• Ensure the highest level of performance and reliability of backend services.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8 years of backend development experience, with expertise in Java.
• Extensive experience with database management, including successful migration projects.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Proficient in writing and consuming RESTful webservices.
• Experience working with Relational DBs like MySQL and Oracle.
• Able to write acceptance criteria, automation and execute regression testing.
• Experience utilizing GitHub, Jira and Confluence.

What tech stack our teams use? Java, PHP, Adobe Experience Manager, Magento, TypeScript, Web Components, Redux, RESTful Web Services, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, AWS, Oracle, and Redi

Must Have for this role:
• Looking for a strong Backend developer.
• This person will be working 80% of backend and 20% of front end development.
• Candidate should also have experience in writing database queries and maintaing the database.
• Looking for 8 years of experience into development.
• Candidate should have experience on test script/ scripting .
• Experience in CI/CD Pipeline (Circle CI)
• Top skills are Java, microservices, AWS.
• Should have experience in framework performance testing.
• AWS, EC2, S3, Terraform skills.
• Familiar with the K6 or Playwright is a big plus.
• Strong knowledge on spring, springboot.
• Open to any industry background. But if they have experience in developing e-commerce websites will be strongly preffered.
